About The Bride & Groom

Once upon a time, about 12 years ago, they met after Robert and his siblings had received the three initiation sacraments in Catholicism: Baptism, First Communion, and Confirmation. They were told to go find a friend, and they introduced themselves to Jessa’s stepdad, Scott. From there, a family friendship grew between the two families. After several years of attending Sunday Masses together, volunteering with the young youth, and participating in the high school youth group with their families, Jessa and Robert made it official on February 12, 2017.

Throughout the past 6 years, they have grown with each other through jobs, school, and other big life changes. They survived a three year long distance relationship, seeing each other every weekend, while Jessa was in school. Robert was Jessa’s number one supporter when she accepted a new position at the YMCA, and she cheered him on when he received the phone call that he had gotten his dream job. On March 31, 2022, Robert popped the question with help from Jessa’s after school kids. On September 23, 2023, Robert and Jessa will say “I do” as they receive the Sacrament of Marriage.
